Our Graduates
Our students have a world of opportunities open to them after graduating. Whether they choose to start their career immediately or explore further options, they leave with practical, transferable business skills that employers genuinely value. Alongside this, they graduate with a standout CV and the confidence and interview skills needed to secure competitive roles.
Throughout the course students gain career inspiration through a personalised job search programme within the Personal Development Planning module. They also hear from regular guest speakers across a wide range of industries, who share real career stories, insights and advice.
Students can also build relationships with our partner recruiters, many of whom work closely with London-based employers. It’s not uncommon for our graduates to secure roles ahead of university graduates, particularly where employers understand the practical focus and outcomes of our curriculum.
”I“It was clear to see as soon as I met them that they had acquired essential business skills from studying at OMBS, from the quality of their CV’s to how well they came across in their interviews. We are thrilled...

Some graduates choose to launch their own businesses, using the skills and confidence gained on the course to start a company or develop a family business. Others progress quickly within organisations, building successful careers from an early stage.
Typical Graduate Employers
Recent graduates have secured roles with companies such as Savills, Bremont Watch Company, John D Wood, Hakluyt & Company, Strutt & Parker, Ralph Lauren, The Wedding Present Company, Morgan Stanley and Odgers Berndston.
It’s also common for our alumni to be promoted quickly as employers recognise their full potential. Our graduate career stories highlight where recent students are working now, and how more experienced alumni have progressed over time.
Expected Earnings
One of the most common questions we’re asked is what graduates can expect to earn. While salaries vary by sector and company, Claire Gray, Director of London-based recruitment specialists Bain and Gray, explains:
“We have seen a marked increase in the starting salary of OMBS graduates. Entry-level roles typically offer salaries from £28,000, rising to around £30,000 in financial services. We benchmark the junior market every six months through our salary surveys and market insights.”
This reflects the strong demand for candidates with practical business experience and workplace-ready skills.
Other Destinations
Some students choose to take a gap year after graduating, using their skills to secure work abroad and fund extended travel. The confidence, skills and knowledge gained on the course makes it easier to find both temporary and permanent international roles.
Each year, some of our students also progress to university, using the diploma as a strong foundation for further academic study.
